FUNCTION
Convert a string to a long number.

The value to convert

The result is returned here

RESULT
How many characters in the string were considered when it was converted or -1 if no valid number could be found.

EXAMPLE
// Valid number are: 5, -1, +3, +0007, etc.

NOTES
The routine doesn't check if the number if too large.

Created macros AROS_SLIB_ENTRY() for assembler files, too, to solve naming problems.

The #includes in the header *must* begin in the first column. Otherwise makedepend will ignore them (GCC works, though).
