Wandering.

A little breeze fills the air, soft and warm. The water of the pond is cool
and clear; a bird takes a refreshing drink. The sunbeams tease a little cat
sleeping under a bush alongside the pond.
No human activity is visible on this warm day in August. Everything is
quiet, except for a kid across the street. He comes out of the house, puts
down his stereo and pushes the play button. After a moment of quietness
the sound of rave-house-music fills the air and supresses the soft breeze
that made the heat more bearable. The kid starts to dance like a madman.
The man at the pond, shakes his head, smiles and wanders off, away from the
kid, away from the music.

The next day a man is found in the park on a bench, his lungs empty. The
winter is early this year.
