DESCRIPTION

  This archive contains 4 ARexx scripts to convert different database formats.

  Aminet2CSV : Converts Aminet RECENT file into comma-separated values.
  Aminet2TSV : Converts Aminet RECENT file into tab-separated values.
  CSV2TSV    : Converts comma-separated values into tab-separated values.
  TSV2CSV    : Converts tab-separated values into comma-separated values.

  It might be possible that Aminet2CSV or Aminet2TSV can convert INDEX file as
  well (not tested).

REQUIREMENTS

  RexxMast from Workbench disk is started.


INSTALLATION

  No installation is required. Copying all the files to REXX: could be a good
  idea, though.


USAGE

  To convert an Aminet 'RECENT' file into comma-separated values:

  > RX Aminet2CSV RECENT
  
  This will make 'RECENT.CSV'.
  All the rest of the programs have similar syntax.

  CSV's and TSV's can be used in most of database programs such as FinalData,
  db, XBase, ProCalc, TurboCalc, etc.
