BryCC2.SPOT is a workaround script based on Brian Jacobsen BryCC.SPOT V1.0.
BryCC2.SPOT is freely distributable.
I make no guarantees for this program at all! You use it at your own risk.
No warranties are made. No liability or responsibility is assumed.
I rewrote it because I use NetGate to receive and send email over internet.
And Jacobsen's BryCC.SPOT has some ugly "feature" (for me).
What you need is Spot and a fido-usenet-converter ala NetGate.
The Version 2.0 has following functions:
- send multiple copies of a letter to many users
- support fido and email (internet)
- write letters with your own editor, defineable in script
- no more namelistings of forwarded users at top of mail
- fileattaching
- added signatures and tag lines automatic
- now you can use BryCC.SPOT with only one receiver :-)
- input names and adresses with requester
- multiple adress-files, path is definiedable in script
It's should look like: username # fido-adress
and for emails: username <email> # fido-adress
But think about the maximum 35 words of username with email what Spot can do!
Greetings go to... Brian Jacobsen (BryCC.SPOT V1.0)
Nico François (Spot)
Michael Berg (NetGate)
Uffe Holst (NGConfig)
and to my beta-tester :-)
