This archive contains the files necessary for upgrading the
Dynalink V1456VQE external modem to the V90 modem
specification.

The Rockwell v2 update found elsewhere on Aminet will NOT
work with the Dynalink modem. **DO NOT TRY IT!**

The files in this archive have come directly from the Dynalink
web pages and are solely for use on Dynalink modems in the
United Kingdom.  They are the official upgrade files.

If there is demand, I will upload files for Dynalink users
in other countries around the world e.g. Germany, USA, etc.

In order to update your modem you will need the following:-

 * An Amiga - probably Kickstart 2.04 or better.
 * NComm v3.00
 * NComm v3.06 update
 * NComm v3.06 freeware keyfile
 * TCP/IP e.g. Genesis or Miami software and an ISP account.
 * A Dynalink V1456VQE External Modem.
 * A lot of patience.

NComm is available in full from Aminet in comm/term.

Documentation is provided in the archive see the v90.html
file for instructions.

Proceed with care - if you follow the instructions correctly
as I have stated then you should have no problems.

I do not make any guarantees from the mis-use of this upgrade
patch on your modem.  If your modem should fail to work upon
upgrading it, then I will not be held responsible as my
modem works correctly from the procedures I have outlined.
