Overview:

Amiga 68k port of FreeSynd v0.9+.

FreeSynd is a cross-platform, GPLed reimplementation of engine for 
the classic Bullfrog game, Syndicate.


Requirements:

1) An RTG Amiga (32-bit pixel format ARGB recommended).
2) 68060 processor or better (PiStorm recommended).
3) AHI installed and configured.
4) A copy of the PC game data files.


Features:

 * AHI Sound support
 * OGG compressed audio support
 * Fullscreen and window mode support
 
 
Configuration Options:

Your Workbench screen mode needs to using at least 24-bit color depth.
If you have trouble running in 32-bit color mode, check your P96 preferences
and ensure -> Overall Settings -> DepthIncludesAlpha -> ON.
When running from the Shell you must specify a stack of at least 300,000.
The AHI device used will be the one configured in your AHI Prefs (Unit 0).
The default game install directory is 'Work:Games/FreeSynd'.
If you decide to use a different game data directory then you'll 
need to update the 'FreeSynd.ini' file to match your path.
The mouse will automatically lock (CTRL+m to unlock when running in a window).


Performance Considerations:

1) Fast File System isn't, use PFS3 instead.
2) Use v4.18 of AHI as the later versions are too slow.
3) If you are using Paula try using the 'FAST' audio AHI modes.
4) Playing compressed audio or video on a real 68k CPU will be very slow.
