PPMtoSCR 2.1
------------
This program converts PPM files (and indirectly IFF and Datatypes) into
Spectrum SCR, .bytes, .tap or ZX82 files. It can interface nicely with the
NetPBM distribution for conversion between formats in scripts, or can be
used as a standalone(ish) conversion program.
It supports colour and the BRIGHT attribute (although both of these can be
switched off if desired). It also has full Shell argument parsing, and
tooltypes support.
Important misc changes since last release;
Colour mapping improved even more
Support for FLASH (in case anybody _really_ wants to use it...)
This archive also contains a special "OS3 Preview" version, which uses the
colour mapping routines of AmigaOS 3.0+. This is *very* experimental.
If you haven't been convinced to try it yet, then check out the example SCRs
(GIFs, actually) on the ppmtoscr support pages at;
