DETAILS: OVER 1000 SPECCY POKES FOR ZXAM

Just a quick note to describe what Hack Attack III is. Basically,
it's a guide file with POKEs for over 1000 speccy games.
Before you say "Seen it!", listen up. This is a bit different
from "ZXAMPOKE Guide". For a start, it has a LOT more games, and
a LOT more POKEs in it.
As well as that, it uses a modular approach to allow people to
release their own POKEs as single add-on guide files, as opposed
to having to send them to the author who releases the same text
file plus a few new ones...
Anyway, I don't want to go into too much detail as I'll end up
repeating what is descibed in the main program, but I can safely
state that over 95% of these POKEs have been tried and tested by
me. Yes, that's right, I went through ZXAMPOKE Guide and tested
every available one, and either scrapped or fixed the ones that
didn't work. I then did the same for 8 years of YS, 8 years of
Crash, 2 years of Sinclair User, and any other POKE file I could
find. Oh, and I also added about 300 of my own POKEs..
That's about all there is to this. I hope to release more add-on
files myself at a later date, and it would be nice if other
people would do likewise.
Oh, on a completely different topic.. Someone asked me who did
the ASCII design I use for my name here and on my cardsets. Well,
it wasn't me, as I'm crap at that kind of thing. I actually used
a program called BANNER (I think).. It's not perfect, so if anyone
fancies designing a better FILE_ID.DIZ size logo, I'd be really
grateful...
Anyway, I hope this helps keep the nostalgia boom going, as the
Speccy really was something special. I better go now before I get
all glassy-eyed and start harping on about the good old days when
computer mags were less than a quid, the air was clearer, people
were more polite (blah blah) hhehehehe...
Oh yes, since this was released on the 1st Jan 1996, I'd better
wish everyone a happy NEW yEAR, and all the best FOR 1996 (gettit?).
