  This is MYST v1.0, the YM2149 emulator to play Atari ST soundchip musics
  on the Amiga. This archive contains the binaries as well as the docs.
  For a fully working version, you should also get the MYST_Data_?.lha
  (normally in the same directory where you found this readme file)
  This program is FREEWARE and ©1997-98 by Nicolas Pomarede.

  Brief overview of the emulator :
   - works with 68000 and any OS (at least OS 1.3).
   - compatible with Eagleplayer 1.54 and Delitracker II.
   - supports all known ST effects (enveloppes, samples, SID env).
   - already more than 1000 musics available.
   - low memory requirement (approx 60 Kb of chip RAM).
   - very fast mixing routines at 25 KHz (20-25% of the A500 CPU time on average).
   - special YMST header to provide text informations, as well as relocation
     for absolute replay routines, subsongs, replay time, ...
   - standalone emulator binary to include in your own program.



Quick installation :
--------------------

  Copy the file YMPlayer in your usual EP or DT player directory.
