Some info about these two Arexx scripts:

Ed-iSpell.rx:

Is a script for checking the English spelling while typing using the
well known spell checker ispell.
I am using Ed since the times of workbench 1,3 and am something as
aficionado to it and have never abandoned it definitively.
So as I wrote the the script to check the spelling with Yam I told
myself why don't use this with the good old Ed too? and here it is.

It don't check the word automatically but you have to push a function
key with the cursor just after the the word to check.
To work correctly create some space after your text  by hitting return
two or three times.


Ed-MentatFW.rx

Hitting a function key it sends the word before the cursor to Mentat,
and if you have Mentat istalled it will explain the perfect meaning
of the word.

Edit your Ed-startup:

As exsamples I enclose here two Ed-startup files to grab from.
In those Ed configurations the key  F9  is used for Ed-iSpell.rx
and  Shift+F9  for Ed-MentatFW.rx.
