Recently while browsing the Aminet I found the fantastic GlowIcons by Matt Chaput. I
decided to design some icons for my applications (or those I'd like to have). Some of
them are based on the work of other authors such as the drawers (Matt Chaput), the
Lemming and the Doom face. Some Icons originally were made for Windows but I redrew them.
Please note that you need NewIcons in order to use these Icons. They should look
quite fine running a screen with 64 colors but I advise you to use at least 128 colors.
The best solution would be a graphics board, of course.
The program "CopyNewIcon" delivered with NewIcons should be used to replace your icons
with these new ones.

Changes since version 1.1

* Many Amigans send me an email concerning my icon set and most of them liked it. Of
course, there were others. These made me work on (and hopefully improve) my icons again...

* To be more specific: antialising, more color transition

Als ich neulich das Aminet durchstöberte, fand ich die fantastischen GlowIcons von Matt
Chaput. Ich entschloß mich dazu, einige Icons für meine Programme (oder solche, die ich gerne
hätte) zu designen. Einige von ihnen basieren auf der Arbeit anderer Autoren, so z.B. die
Schubladen (Matt Chaput), der Lemming und das Doom Gesicht. Einige Icons wurden ursprünglich
für Windows geschaffen, aber ich habe sie neu gemalt.
Bitte nehmt zur Notiz, daß Ihr NewIcons benötigt, um die Icons zu nutzen. Auf einem
Screen mit 64 Farben sollten sie halbwegs akzeptabel aussehen, aber ich empfehle
mindestens 128 Farben zu nutzen. Am besten wäre natürlich eine Grafikkarte.
Das Programm "CopyNewIcon", daß mit NewIcons mitgeliefert wird, sollte dazu benutzt
werden, um eigene Icons durch diese neuen hier zu ersetzen.

* Viele Amiganer haben mir mein Icon Set betreffend eine email geschickt und die meisten
mochten es. Natürlich gab es auch andere. Diese haben mich dazu gebracht, wieder an
meinen Icons zu arbeiten (und sie hoffentlich zu verbessern)...
