This program is a helping tool for transfering PostScript Clip Art images. The basic function of this program is to copy PS files from devices like CDROMs, Streamers etc. (or any other storage devices) to any devices you wish (e.g. your hard drive). There are many useful features you've got in this program. The most important feature is obtaining a real title of each image, and renaming images' filenames to their true full lenght names. Do you ever get confused when trying to figure out what kind of image does a ClipArt file named 'CHRSMSTR.PS' or 'ARCHHOUS.EPS' represent? Did you know that each PS file contains a lot of information about itself: - the original real name (not 'CHRSMSTR.PS' but 'Christmass Tree.ps') - which program was an image created with - a creation date With EPSRename you are able to copy PS files, to rename files with their real names, to retrieve images' creation dates, and to put creator names in file notes. EPS Rename will also check each file you select, whether it is a clipart PS file or not, and will skip all no-PS files.
