Short: CLI-tool to activate, move to front windows etc. Author: Daniel Westerberg Uploader: Daniel Westerberg (daniel onyxsoft se) Type: util/cli Version: 1.3 Architecture: m68k-amigaos >= 2.0.4 This program lets you activate, move to front or move to back a window specified by its title on the active screen or any screen. The screen can also be brought to front or put back. "What would this be good for then", you might ask..?! Well, lets say you a writing in some program, say YAM or a text editor or something and then someone writes a comment on IRC, or you what to change song/volume in your favourite music player without using your mouse. Then this is a nice program. You just use some program that can execute commands with a hotkey, like AllKeys or ToolsDaemon to set up this program with appropriate parameters and assign it a hotkey. This way you can switch to the IRC/AmigaAMP/DeliTracker/whatever window without using your mouse :-) It is also possible to use it to flip screens or just putting the active window to front or back. Just let it execute on a hotkey from for example AllKeys. News & History: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * FIX * Now using LockIBase() to prevent the sporadic crashes this program seemed to suffer from. If you at some time deleted this program because it crashed, now is a good time to try it again. v1.2 ~~~~ * Added the possibility to put the currently active window to front or to back, i.e. you can omit both WINDOWTITLE and WINSCREENTITLE. * Added the possibility to move the active screen, or a screen specified by name to back. * Now using Forbid()/Permit() which should make it a little bit more reliable. v1.1 ~~~~ * Now it is possible to activate the next window on the active screen. This means it's possible to cycle through all the windows on the active screen. The new keyword is NEXT. v1.0 ~~~~ * First release. -- Other programs by Deniil 715! can be found on OnyxSoft homepage at: http://www.onyxsoft.se/ Feel free to mail me if you found bugs or have suggestions: daniel / onyxsoft se NOTE: NEVER publish this e-mail on a web page or similar unless spam-encrypted like above!
