Short: Amiga E syntax parsers for Cubic IDE Author: Murdock / Intense Uploader: mdk ind yahoo fr Type: dev/e Version: 1.0 Requires: GoldED 8 / Cubic IDE, AmigaOS 3.0+, dev/e/CubicIDE-AmigaE.lha Architecture: m68k-amigaos >= 3.0.0 Distribution: Aminet This archive is a complement to the Aminet archive dev/e/CubicIDE-AmigaE.lha (Cubic-IDE AmigaE Plugin by Manfred Bergmann). That plugin provides the toolbar (compile, run) and the Explorer; this archive adds full syntax highlighting and automatic recognition of #?.e files. Syntax highlighting for Amiga E in GoldED 8 / Cubic IDE, with a choice of five compilers: - Amiga E 3.3a (EC) - E-VO 3.9.4 - CreativE 2.12 - Portabl E r6 - ECX 2.3.1 Each compiler has its own parser, built from the exact keyword, type, constant, built-in function and system variable tables of that compiler (extracted from the compiler binaries and sources), so that only words the compiler really knows are highlighted. Features -------- - Context parser with syntax cache (fast, even on a 68000) - Nested /* ... */ comments, also spanning several lines - "->" line comments, plus "//" for E-VO and CreativE - Strings 'text' (with '' and \n, \a ...), character constants "ABCD" - Numbers: 123, 3.14, $FF, %1010 - Keywords, types, predefined constants, built-in functions and system variables of the selected compiler - UPPERCASE identifiers shown as constants, Capitalised identifiers as functions (OpenLibrary, Delay ...) - The name following PROC (procedure definition) and OBJECT (type) - Preprocessor directives (#define, #ifdef ...) - User dictionaries supported (same mechanism as the C add-on) - 12 colour levels, each configurable, with default colours for both bright and dark screens - Automatic recognition of #?.e files (new "Amiga E" filetype) Installation ------------ First install dev/e/CubicIDE-AmigaE.lha from Aminet (see its readme), then: Two installers are provided: "Install-English" (English) and "Install-French" (French). Double-click the one in your language and choose "Install". The installer asks which compiler you use, copies the files to golded:add-ons/amigae/, installs the colour coding preset and adds the "Amiga E" filetype. Restart Cubic IDE. To switch to another compiler, simply run the installer again. To remove the component, run the installer and choose "Uninstall". Full documentation, including manual installation without the installer: AmigaE-Parsers-EN.guide (English) and AmigaE-Parsers-FR.guide (French), next to the installers. Aminet plugin CubicIDE-AmigaE ----------------------------- This package is a complement to CubicIDE-AmigaE.lha (dev/e) by Manfred Bergmann. Both install into golded:add-ons/amigae/ without overwriting each other's files, and the uninstaller only removes the files of this package. The highlighting itself also works without the plugin. If the plugin's "AmigaE" filetype already handles #?.e, keep only one of the two filetypes (or add the preset amigae_.syntax to the plugin's filetype). Contents -------- Install-English installer, English (with icon) Install-French installer, French (with icon) AmigaE-Parsers-EN.guide AmigaGuide documentation, English AmigaE-Parsers-FR.guide AmigaGuide documentation, French scripts/install-.bat regedit scripts (used by the installers, or for manual installation) presets/ colour coding presets amigae_.syntax add-ons/amigae/syntax/ parsers amigae_.parser add-ons/amigae/syntax/dictionaries/ word lists of each compiler (also usable for automatic case correction) add-ons/amigae/README-parser.txt documentation (English) add-ons/amigae/LISEZMOI-parser.txt documentation (French) Technical notes --------------- The parsers are GoldED syntax parser libraries written in C following the GoldED developer kit (syntax.h, scanlib interface), cross-compiled with vbcc. They require exec V39 (memory pools). History ------- 1.0 - first release
