Short: New ProTracker 8ch, AHI sound, RTG gfx Author: Tom Beyer, Oliver Ickler, Haavard Pedersen, Akustikrausch Uploader: akustikrausch gmail com Type: mus/edit Version: 4.1.1 Requires: 1 MB memory. 68020 for AHI and RTG. Architecture: m68k-amigaos >= 2.0.4 Distribution: Aminet Kurz: ProTracker 8ch, AHI-Sound, RTG-Grafik ProTracker 4.1 finishes what ProTracker 4.0 Beta 2 (1997) left open and brings the program to today's Amigas. All original features are kept. 4.1.1 replaces 4.1: FLT8 modules (Startrekker) load completely. Some patterns lost tracks 1-4 when the 8 channel mixer ran while loading. - 8 channel modules (8CHN, OCTA, CD81, FLT8) load, play and save. 68020 or a fast 68000 mixes all 8 channels, a 7 MHz A500 needs fast RAM. - AHI sound cards, switchable while a song plays. - Graphics cards: own screen or a resizable window on the Workbench. - VU meters and analyzer show all 8 tracks at once. - WAV/AIFF, XPK, long file names, big partitions, effects 81y-87y. - SAVE EXE and MIX IT with 8 channels. - Setup on two pages, automatic first-start setup, colour scheme 4.1 or classic 2.3, online help, AmigaGuide manual. - Many Beta 2 bugs fixed, tempo timing compared against ProTracker 2.3D. Runs from an A500+ (68000, 1 MB, Kickstart 2.04) up to 68060 and AmigaOS 3.2. No installer: unpack, drag the drawer anywhere, start ProTracker41.
