LumiTorrent is a BitTorrent client for AmigaOS 3.x with a MUI 3.8
interface. One event loop serves the window and every connection, so it
stays usable on a 68030 or 68060 with a few megabytes of memory.
It is part of the Lumi suite.

- Fast extension (BEP 6) and Local Peer Discovery (BEP 14)
- Message Stream Encryption (MSE/PE): allow, prefer or require
- Seed goals: stop at a ratio or after a seeding time
- Watched folder: .torrent files dropped there are added on their own
- .torrent icons dropped on the window, or on its icon while iconified
- "Add to LumiTorrent..." in the Tools menu of the Workbench (and DOpus)
- Choice of files per torrent: download only some files
- Creating torrents from a file or drawer, seeded at once
- Editing the trackers of a torrent; statistics over all runs with
average rates, ratio bar and reset
- Notifications through Herald or Ringhio
- Log below the status line or in a window of its own, with colours,
log level, row menu and log file
- Events: a sound and a command (ARexx, shell, Workbench) for a
finished download, a failed torrent and more
- Fast resume: an interrupted download continues where it stopped,
changed files are checked again
- Every piece checked with SHA-1 (68k assembler)
- Torrent list in four tabs; detail pages (general, files, peers,
trackers) shown on request; several torrents or files marked at
once, Select all and Select none
- ARexx port LUMITORRENT.1; a second start hands its torrents over
- Automatic update check via signature verification
- German/English localisation (English built in, German catalog)

Successfully tested on AmigaOS 3.1, 3.2, 3.5 and 3.9.
INSTALLATION
------------
Recommended: open the archive, double-click the "Install" icon
in the LumiTorrent/ drawer and follow the AmigaOS Installer (English
or German). It copies the binary, the localisation catalogs and
the AmigaGuide help files to the location you choose.
Manual install: copy the LumiTorrent binary and its .info icon
wherever you like, e.g. SYS:Tools/, place the catalogs in
LOCALE:Catalogs/<language>/ and the guides in HELP:<language>/.
LumiTorrent creates two drawers beside itself on first use:
Torrents/ (torrent list, copies of the .torrent files, resume
data) and Downloads/ (downloaded data). Both can be moved in the
settings.

INSTALLATION

Empfohlen: Archiv öffnen, im Verzeichnis LumiTorrent/ auf "Install"

englische Sprache). Er kopiert das Binary, die Sprachkataloge und
die AmigaGuide-Dokumentation an den gewählten Ort.
Manuelle Installation: das LumiTorrent-Binary und das zugehörige
Piktogramm an einen beliebigen Ort kopieren (z.B. SYS:Tools/),
die Kataloge nach LOCALE:Catalogs/<Sprache>/ und die Guides nach
HELP:<Sprache>/.
LumiTorrent legt beim ersten Start zwei Schubladen neben sich an:
Torrents/ (Torrent-Liste, Kopien der .torrent-Dateien,
Resume-Daten) und Downloads/ (geladene Daten). Beide lassen sich in
den Einstellungen verlegen.
