MqttExplorer is a native MUI (Magic User Interface) application for
classic AmigaOS. It connects to an MQTT broker, shows every topic it
publishes as a live-updating tree, lets you inspect any message, and
publish your own - a small, on-target equivalent of the desktop MQTT
Explorer tool.
Status: work in progress (v0.2). Connecting, subscribing, publishing, the
live topic tree and multiple saved broker profiles have all been verified
on real hardware/WinUAE, but this is still under active development, not
a finished/polished release.
What's new in 0.2
------------------
- Broker connection settings moved out of the main window into their
own Servers... window, with support for saving more than one broker
profile (add/delete/edit, switch between them from the main window's
Server cycle gadget).
- Each broker profile has its own subscribe filter and QoS, used to
auto-subscribe as soon as Connect succeeds - no separate Subscribe
step needed for the common case.
- The topic tree's title shows the connected broker's name.
- The message log now uses NList.mcc and auto-scrolls to the newest
entry as messages arrive.
- Various layout fixes (readable field widths in Servers..., proportional
panel sizing).
Requirements
------------
- AmigaOS 3.1+, 68020 or better.
- MUI 3.8+/4.x, with Listtree.mcc (ships with any standard install) and
NList.mcc/NListview.mcc (very common third-party classes, not always
bundled by default - available from Aminet if missing).
- A TCP/IP stack providing bsdsocket.library.
- midge's mqtt.library, copied to LIBS: - MqttExplorer is built on top
of it and will not run without it.

Quick start
-----------
Copy midge's mqtt.library to LIBS:
Run MqttExplorer, press Servers..., fill in your broker's Host/Port/
Client ID and press Save, then Close.
Pick that broker from the Server cycle gadget and press Connect - it
subscribes to its configured filter (default "#", i.e. everything)
automatically.
