Introduction:
Small tool to remove those silly ID3 Read Only Tags or other
unnecessary stuff from the beginning of an MPEG audio file
causing ugly sounds before the song is played.

Disclaimer:
Use at your own risk! I cannot be held responsible for
any damage it may cause, either to hardware or to software.

Requirements:
Should run on almost every Amiga.

Installation:
After extracting the archive, just copy the executable anywhere
you want it (I recommend to put it somewhere in your path, e.g. sys:c)

Usage:
 - General: It's a cli only tool, the template is:
   "MpegClean-r <Inputfile> <Outputfile> [<Trashfile>]"
Where <Inputfile> is the mp3 file you want to edit, <Outputfile> is
the filename, where you want to save the edited file. Optionally you
can specify a filename for the <Trashfile>, in which the removed part
will be stored (If you would join the Trashfile and the Outputfile,
you will get the Inputfile again).
 - "Fake" headers: some files start with a header to avoid programmes to
remove the information (which is causing the ugly sounds).
MpegClean-r can't detect if it's a real or a fake header, but if you
know it's there (causing a beep or similar not belonging to the song
at start) you can remove it. Just try to clean it as normal and type "y"
when you're asked if you wan't to remove the first frame although the
file already starts with the first header (maybe you have to clean it
   twice to get this question).

Notes: If you encounter that the resulting file is played faster or slower
(your player displays different bitrates/frequencies for the cleaned and
uncleaned file), just clean the file again (select "y" when you're asked
if you wan't to remove the first frame).

Bugs: I don't know any. If you find one, PLEASE mail me and i'll try to fix it.

History:
1.1b: - Support for all types of MPEG audio
       - Renamed to MpegClean-r

1.1a: - Support for "fake" headers

 1.0: - First release

Future:
 - Recognition of the ReadOnly Tags with possibility to save the
   information in the normal tag.
 - Wildcards
