BusyBox combines tiny versions of many common Unix utilities into a
single small executable. This is BusyBox built for AmigaOS: one 400K
program that is awk, sed, grep, find, sort, md5sum, tar, gzip, diff,
ls, cat, wc and 57 others, depending on the name it is called by.

Soft links in the c/ drawer make each applet a command of its own;
a script to create them is included. None replaces an AmigaDOS
command: the nine names that exist in SYS:C are left unlinked and
reached as "busybox grep ..." instead.
It is Unix commands, not a Unix shell. AmigaOS has no fork(), so
there is no sh, ps or top, and xargs cannot run what it reads. Paths
are AmigaOS paths (RAM:, Work:src/x); there is no "." and no stderr,
so error messages appear on the console with everything else.
Needs a 68020 or better and AmigaOS 3.0+, or AROS 68k. No
ixemul.library, no assigns, no other libraries. Tested on AmigaOS
3.1, 3.2.3, 3.9 and ApolloOS R9.5.
The archive includes the port's complete source under src/: the
patch against BusyBox git, the AmigaOS glue, the configuration and
the build script. BusyBox is GPLv2.
