TopGun hat zwei wesentliche Funktionsgruppen.
1. Hitlisten
--------------
TopGun erstellt Statistiken ueber Uploads und Downloads.
Dabei werden nur Uebertragungen in einem gewissen Zeitraum gewertet,
dieses hat gegenueber einer Hitliste ohne Zeitlimit den entscheidenden
Vorteil, dass sich die Platzierungen schneller aendern. Es ist also
einem neuen User in vergleichbar kurzer Zeit moeglich, unter die
TopUploader zu kommen, was hoffentlich den Motivations-Aspekt eines
TopTools verstaerkt.
2. Ratioverwaltung
--------------------
Mit TopGun kann downloadbezogenes Ratio vergeben werden. Die
Ratioverwaltung kann komplett abgeschaltet, oder auf ein paar Bretter
beschraenkt werden. Wird ein File gezogen, so bekommt der User, der
die Datei in die Box gelegt hat, Freiraum gutgeschrieben. Optional
kann dem User ueber diesen Vorgang eine Nachricht zugesandt werden.
