Description:
AmiWeatherDoor is a plain-ASCII terminal/BBS frontend for AmiWeather. ABBS
3.3 is the first and currently only runtime-qualified BBS. It provides
current conditions, hourly, daily, 7-day and 14-day forecasts, weather
details, location search, refresh, cancellation, and clean return to ABBS.
Usage:
H Hourly, D Daily, 7 7 Day, A 14 Day, W Weather Details, L Location,
R Refresh, Q Return to BBS. Empty location input or 0 cancels. The interface
uses bounded ASCII terminal I/O and does not require ANSI support.
Installation:
Copy AmiWeatherDoor and AmiWeather.script to ABBS:Doors/AmiWeather/. Add
the S Shell-door entry from Node0Config.example to Node0Config or NodeXConfig,
add matching Node0Menu text, and run OPEN n. Keep failat 2147483647 before
the executable and EndCLI after it so a failed door cannot abort cleanup.
Requirements:
AmigaOS 3.1 or later, 68020 or later, no FPU or MMU, a working
bsdsocket.library-compatible TCP/IP stack, DNS, Internet access, and AmiSSL 5.
The door provisions its own private 32 KiB runtime stack; no manual Stack
command is required.
